Growing Community, Connection, and Hope in Florence, Oregon
At Caregiver Bridge, we believe healing and connection often begin in the simplest places — a shared laugh, a walk outdoors, a conversation among friends, or the beauty of a peaceful garden. That is why we are deeply grateful to the Rotary Club of Florence Oregon and The Rotary Foundation for generously dedicating their time, energy, and resources to restoring and improving our outdoor garden and surrounding grounds.
As People of Action, Rotary members continue to demonstrate what community service truly means. Through projects like this, the Rotary Club of Florence strengthens local nonprofits and small organizations that work daily to improve the lives of others.

The Rotary Foundation’s Mission in Action
The Rotary Foundation advances world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, supporting education, protecting the environment, and helping communities thrive. Here in Florence, Oregon, that mission is coming to life through the support shown to Caregiver Bridge and the families we serve.
Their commitment to improving our garden area is far more than cleanup or repair — it is an investment in dignity, belonging, and human connection.
Why Our Garden Matters
Caregiver Bridge is an adult social center that supports individuals experiencing mild memory loss or cognitive decline while also giving family caregivers an opportunity to rest, recharge, and tend to their own well-being.
For many of our participants living with dementia or memory challenges, outdoor spaces provide a calming and therapeutic environment. Our garden offers a safe place to explore movement, engage socially, enjoy sensory stimulation, and reconnect with nature. These moments of interaction and activity can significantly improve mood, reduce isolation, and foster a sense of independence and community.
The renewed garden space created through Rotary’s service project will continue to benefit participants and caregivers for years to come.
A Gift of Service and Compassion
The Rotary Club of Florence Oregon has given our organization more than an improved outdoor space — they have provided encouragement, hope, and a visible reminder that our community cares deeply for its seniors, caregivers, and vulnerable neighbors.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to every Rotary member who contributed to this meaningful project. Your generosity reflects the very best of Florence and the spirit of service that makes our community stronger.
