Caregiver Bridge

Caregiver Bridge is a 501c3 NonProfit Organization that designates its resources to providing a safe space for its participants who have been affected by memory loss. We offer socialization, a place for them to feel seen and heard,  connection and friendships.  Simultaneously, we bridge the gap between the loved one with memory loss and their home caregiver who needs time for rest and recovery.  Additionally Caregiver Bridge offers resources, home accessibility recommendations specific to those with memory loss, and support services.

Coffee Club

Coffee Club is our participant driven adult social program.  Our participants enjoy freedom of choice to engage, relax, rest, eat lunch, laugh, share their thoughts, play games, listen to music, sing and create friendships.  For a small daily fee we offer a hot lunch and 4 hours where a participant can feel seen and heard.  We serve those with mild cognitive decline; whether memory loss stems from dementia, aging or brain trauma.  Participants should be independently mobile and able to handle personal care without assistance.

Caregiver Support

Caregiver burnout is a very real experience.  There are free support groups available within your community to help guide and inform.  Our Executive Director can connect with families at their home or in our office to provide resource information, suggest appropriate support groups, and recommend in-home services as well as accessibility aides.  You do not have to do this alone.  Caregiver Bridge bridges the gap between the caregiver and the support they need to best care for their loved one.  We are in this together.

Volunteering

Have a heart for people?  Looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities?  Caregiver Bridge is in need of dedicated volunteers and board members.

What is means to volunteer during Participant Driven sessions:  Volunteers provide a safe environment with welcoming attitudes and open minds where adults with memory loss can feel seen and heard, and more importantly, respected.  Our volunteers provide 4.5 hours of their time weekly or rotate in as a substitute.  Volunteers become part of a team, receive lunch and make a difference in the lives of others.
